For the Eid Buffet, we introduced two new crops – turnips and sukuma-wiki (collard greens) and both were very popular – AND our contract farmers are the only growers of either of them in the country:
Turnips with a white sauce
Boiled mountain lamb with sukuma-wiki (collard greens)
Turnips, large radishes, and starter beds are here.
Amaranth, colocaise, long celery and some other crops are being grown in this area.
Prepared beds being watered out of one of the shallow wells
All of this area is experiencing a local version of Land Grabbing in the context of govt. employees working to take plots for 'The Government'... We will see...
